     These files are contained in a compressed folder, also known as a ZIP file. You must first extract or unzip it before performing the instructions below. If your computer cannot open the zip file, download and install WinZip trial for free.

• Go to My Documents > My Games > Age of Empires 3 > RM
• Copy and paste all XS, XML, and SET files from the download into that folder.
• When hosting a game, check the box next to Custom Maps.

Warning! An overwrite-proof setting has been applied to the files. This means that if you have a bad or partially downloaded file, ESO will not let you overwrite it. If this happens, please redownload from here. Don't distribute your bad download!

Note! To use the Random All or Standard Observer Maps - everyone must have every map in the pack!
