Learning Flash…

Got Adobe Flash quite a while ago - it came as part of a free complimentary upgrade to another software I had - but funny enough I haven’t opened the program till just a few days ago.  Am looking through it and trying out ActionScript 3 (the scripting for Flash) and it seems really similar to Java.

More or less, I’m looking for some nice tutorial sites if there are any; most the ones I were able to find go back to some really old version of Flash (the scripting is not applicable) while others were just too much to read. :P

Here is something my school wants me to make for a design competition: http://mymesa.pftq.com/

The object of the contest is to describe your projects surrounding MESA, but I’ve never been in MESA so I’m just substituting other stuff I’ve made for now. :P I’m really lost on how to layout the actual page (after the intro video) so any suggestions would be nice! No copyrighted content aloud so all graphics are indeed made by me as well as the accompanying background buildup (wouldn’t call it a song…).  Some sounds are from royalty-free products though.
