You slowly back off, but the dog leaps
toward you. Incredibly, it leaps past
you and out the cave.
You turn around to spot it battling
with a hideous black animal that somewhat resembles a wolf. Sludge hangs from its skin. It runs on four powerful legs with claws
longer than your entire hand. Standing
on four legs, it is slightly taller than you and had no jaws. Instead, there is a round closing-and-opening
mouth filled with jagged teeth. Two
bulging eyes seem to have been just stuck onto the sides of its head.
You have to get past it.
