Added more on WYNN at $2.30 to the few calls I picked up yesterday. Thinking we can complete that break today with the rest of the market rallying. Cut losses on CLWR at $.20

Price, volume, and RSI seem to be calling for a bottom on the NASDAQ here but hitrate isn't as reliable. Also the RSI2 spread is quite wide - usually you want it to be tight for better conviction.

First time screening for intraday trendline breaks with my program - just trying this out as I don't know how effective it is on the 30-min chart yet (it works for buying the stock itself but not sure if the movement if enough for options).

Yeah, I gotta stop making these side trades and stick to my program. Typical sell the news with PCS - good thing only picked up a few.
And while I was preoccupied with PCS, I didn't notice my program made another RSI flip on SPY (could've been another 50-100% trade on calls). Really need to get it sending me emails soon so I can notice them without going home to run the program.

Got my exit signal for the SPY trade last week, which will pretty much hold today unless we close super-bullish (at HOD or something). It trades on close prices only though, so when the best time is to sell today is ambiguous. It also doesn't mean we can' t go higher, just that now my program has no clue what the market will do from here.

RSI2 generated another trade for SPY at today's close. RSI2 for SPY and trendlines for stocks in general are my main trade strategies (which have been dry since QE3), so I'll probably be adding a more substantial position again tomorrow morning. Can't wait

Bah, my only trendline break for the week got nullified by a bad close.
Need to write a scheduler for the program so I can run the scan at the end of day while I'm in class, instead of trying to guess the close during market open.
I'll probably see how it does after this week for another chance to break the resist. Otherwise I'll just take the loss; fortunately it's November expiration so I have plenty time.

Grr I woke up late today. My sell limit for PCS took me out at .80 open only for them to go as high as 1.3 in the same hour.
Picked up ALTR October 37x calls in the meantime at 1.2 on RSI2 oversold.

Just finished another run of the program. Looks like only two trendline breaks for today, SYY and PCS. I hate MetroPCS though (as a company).
Watching the close as always before entering to make sure we don't have some sudden sell off that cancels the break.

Looks like more sideways until the Fed announcement tomorrow. Only picked up two trendline breaks for today; will watch KSS into close to make sure they keep looking bullish before I buy calls (but I'll be on my phone - so we'll see how well that goes lol ). Already picked up STJ Oct 40x calls at $1.30.

Out of GS at $.75 (+500%). I think I remember someone telling me yesterday how I was sure to lose money on this trade because of the lack of hedging. Interesting how that went.

My program generated a buy today for SPY (oversold) using a variation of this strategy. I was in class all day though and only just saw it. Going to hope tomorrow morning is still low and jump into calls as soon as possible.
