The HTML page is in the same directory as setup.ini

Any chance I can see a link to the actual webpage? That would be easiest to debug.
Thanks

Trying to set up Gameshow Maker for Jeopardy. I know you say it is self-explanatory, but no matter what I do I can't change the point values. They stay 100, 200, 300, 400, 1000.

Setting val=100, valstart=100, valfinal=500   in an attempt just to get 100-500 in does nothing. So I started playing setting the final value to 2000, changing the increments, using negative numbers, etc. Everything results in 100, 200, 300, 400, 1000. I've reset the setup.ini back to it's original state and tried again and again, but no dice.

what am I missing? Huh

You need to change the values in presets/jeopardy.ini

It's a little weird I admit

Ohhhhhh. Didn't even see that file. OK. That did it. So anything in both the jeopardy.ini and setup.ini is superceded by what's in the jeopardy.ini file?

Well I am just amazed at what you've put together here and given away for free. Thanks! And all the options that you can configure for yourself. Simply great.

On the Question/Answer Screen - the topic (from the button text) does not change sizes when I adjust the headsize.  I can shift it up and down with no problem.  However the font size never changes no matter what value I use.  (I am using text on each button rather than category headers.)

// QA Header (text at top)
headsysfont=false // Set true to use your system's own fonts.
headfont=Arial Black // Font to use
headcolor=0xFFFFFF // Header color
headsize= 30 // Font size
headshift=75 // Shift up/down (px)

Also, is there a way to force a carriage return between the $/point value for the question and the topic text that I put in the category.txt file?  Right now I am using ---- to force it on to another line.

Check if you have a preset loaded at the top.  The preset file settings override what's in the current file.

To add a new line, you can use the html tag

Thank you, I am using the Chalk preset and figured that out.

I will have to google html tags for adding a new line.

New line - html tag
That worked great - however the swirling text at the beginning shows the tags around the words.
I put the html tag in the category.txt file - was this the incorrect place to put it?

Oops, nvm.  It was the wrong place to put it.  Got it figured out.
Thanks for the awesome speed in responding!

I want a total of 7 questions, with the 7th question being the 1000 question. Regardless of what I do, it just keeps creating another 100 value with the question in it and leaves the 1000 blank. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Make sure you're not leaving a blank line at the end of any of the question files.

How do you set the points for each category?
Why aren't my questions and answers integrated into the game? (They're saved .txt files and are in the package)
