I am trying to get a Jeopardy board that has five rows, valued 100 to 500. I have changed the ini file as follows:
// value of each row
val=100

// value of final rows
valfinal=500

I get 6 rows, with two 500 rows at the bottom of the board.
I triple checked that I have only 5 lines per category - no word wrap, no hidden returns.
When I put nothing in the valfinal field, I still get 6 rows, with the bottom row saying 0.

Can you help me figure out where I'm going wrong?

BTW  - I love the graphics and the sounds - very nice!

Hi, the number of rows is determined by how many lines you have in the question files.  If you only put 5 lines of questions, then you might have hit return and left a blank line at the bottom of the file.

Check the first question file (column 1) as it has the highest priority.

I went back and check all the files *again* and sure enough, 2 or 3 of them had an extra line at the end of the file. I deleted it, and voila! It works like a charm! Thanks!
