How do you make games?

Mm.. that is a very broad question.  You can make games through many means - if you mean what kind of programming languages, again that's your choice. Some ones off the top of my head are Flash and Java.

There's also a very basic style of programming developed at MIT called "Scratch" (search MIT Scratch on google).  It's like programming with training wheels; very simple and guided; cannot do everything but it will get you thru the basics of making a program/game/whatever.
