World famous enviormentalist and animal expert Steve Irwin was killed today, September 4, 2006, by a stingray barb to the chest while filming a documentary. He will be mourned by all who have come to love the natural world. At least this will shake those skeptics who believe that all he did was fake.

Yeah, at least it wasn't a croc. That would be too ironic and PFTQ might put on his blabberbox as one of those ironic deaths.
