Very compact and cultural college town (Harvard, MIT, Berklee, etc). Ironically a lot of the buildings lack AC but the subways are very modern and all have AC.

Weirdest weather. Nice and sunny up top but if you decide to hike down even a quarter of the way, it'll start to rain on you. Then it stops as soon as you reach the top.

Very modernized and pretty interesting. Also very scenic in some areas. Can be very foggy at times. Also a few pictures of Macau since they're only a boatride apart.

The northern tip of Japan, which mainly only has one small urbanized city of Sapporo and has the most natural scenery. The city is reminiscent of downtown Chicago while the outskirts are reminiscient of Alaska.

Kyoto is famous for ancient temples and scenery. The main areas are around Gion with other points of interest spread further away accessible by bus/subway. It's not as dense as Tokyo but has more nature and small-town feel, making it similar to Boston in comparison to NYC.

Photos from various districts in Tokyo, including Shibuyu, Shinjuku, Akihabara, and Asakusa. Tokyo is analogous to NYC in that it is high-tech, doesn't need a car, and has just about everything within walking/transit reach, but like NYC, infrastructure is getting a bit old since most of the city was built a long time ago.

Mostly photos from visiting Seoul, which is highly urbanized and heavily focused on shopping/consumption. It's like San Francisco but even more extreme with the tech and convenience. The whole city, including the subway, has free high-speed Wifi.

Not the most modern city tech-wise (subways could be cleaned up, etc), but the most complete I've been to by a long shot. Very cultural: musicians performing everywhere I went, lots of theater/broadway, much of the city stays open long past midnight (as opposed to closing by 8pm in most of SF where I live).

Probably one of the most well preserved wild areas, although the animals seem rather tame. Very bizarre landscape and amazing geysers.

Yosemite is a word that means "Grizzly Bear." There are no grizzly bears at Yosemite. There's no lake at Mirror Lake. There's no glacier at Glacier Point. The swinging bridge doesn't swing....
