Darkerly Stormy Complete
Another song finally done. Took a lot longer than I expected to on this and it's not quite as powerful as I wanted it to be, but it's probably one of my better ones in a long time.
As mentioned previously, this is a remake of the climax of a song I started about 3 years ago. At the time, I didn't really know what I was doing (I still don't) nor did I have very high quality instruments (VSTs) to work with. It took a long time to figure out what new samples to use as opposed to the Edirol VST I had in the original Darker Stormy. A lot of the sounds I wanted to use I didn't know the names for and as a result, the song still isn't quite what I had in mind.
Those more musically inclined, I would love to know what instruments I *should* have used instead, so feel free to suggest. For example, most songs probably don't use piano as their primary baseline so that definitely needs swapping.. if only I knew what to swap it with.
