Type: Game / Add-On

Guests can enter the pipes and pop up at distances away from where they started.  Meant to reference similar pipes from Mario.  Requested by a Zoo Admin forumer.

Part of the Transportation Mini-Expansion. Buildings in this set revolve around the use of "teleportation" - a characteristic I found by setting entry and exit points farther away then the building's size/footprint.

From the Readme:

Warp Pipe
by Flamethrower

The Warp Pipe is a transportation device.  Guests enter through any sides of the pipe and get teleported a certain amount of game tiles away on the opposite.  The exact amount of tiles warped through is stated in the parentheseses of the name.  The Warp Pipe is such an interesting and fun experience that it'll improve the guests' happiness very greatly.
The Warp Pipe will operate on both land and water.  Because the Warp Pipe leads underground, objects in the way of the pipe's path will not affect where the guests appear.  If the destinated tile is on a cliff, the Warp Pipe will still lead the guests onto it, no matter how high the cliff is.

To Use:

Click Start and then click Run.  Type in the following:

C://Program Files/Microsoft Games/Zoo Tycoon

The path may vary depending on whether or not you changed any options during the installation of Zoo Tycoon.

A window will open up.  Place the dll files into the window and the ztd files into the dlupdates folder or Updates folder.  Either will do, but the dlupdates folder is prefered because it doesn't mix up official and unofficial downloads.

If you have downloaded other buildings part of the Teleportation Mini-Expansion, you will replace your current dll file with the new one included.

The Warp Pipe will cause the guests to appear out of thin air.  Since this is unlike the actual Mario Warp Pipe, Flamethrower has created a scenery version that you can place on the same tile the guests appear on.  The guests will then appear to jump from one pipe to the other.

Known Issue:

The Warp Pipe has been known to not actually lead all guests to the opposite side.  Most of the time, it will, but it has been known to sometimes take guests to different sides of the pipe.  The only possible sides though are shown in the diagram below:
