Working on Song: Bad Lucker Again

Seems like I keep coming back to this same song. It just seems really easy to play for me - guess I’m just lazy these days. :P It’s a bit sloppy but I’m just laying down ideas right now. Maybe I’ll add orchestra to it like the original song if I ever get the time.

New 42 Articles

With the layout change in the 42 section, it’s been much easier to add and update pages. I’ve gone ahead and added the following:

  - Buying Gadgets and Tech. Where to check before you buy computers, cameras, camcorders, etc.
  - CD & DVD Burning. What media to buy, what program to burn, how to print on and store the discs.
  - Sony P200 Camera - Removing Dust Spots. For those still using the old P200 camera like me, they’ll find this useful for prolonging its life and avoiding dust in the camera.
  - Video Editing Resources. And of course, this list wouldn’t be complete without my information on my newest ventures in video editing. :P Like everything else, most of of what I know about video editing is learned online, so this is a list of sites that have helped me most.

I’m pretty much just going through my bookmarks to figure out what to add. :P If there’s anything else you guys think would be useful, just let me know.

42 Section Finally Updated

Used to leave a note on the 42 page saying I would update it at some point… left it hanging for almost two years. :P

Have to say it was probably one of the uglier parts of my site for a long time - and hardest to update.  I’ve pretty much ditched the idea of having a separate layout for every page now.  Created one script to generate all the pages in that section with a consistent layout.  Should also make it easier for me to add and update new pages, so hopefully there will actually be 42 things to do there at some point. :P

I’ve also added a comment feature.  Not quite ready to combine the site login system yet, so everyone is still a guest even if they have an account.  However, feel free to give feedback on any of the pages. :)

A Christmas Tale

My friends and I spent three days last week filming what we thought would be a quick, short Christmas skit for school.  Turned out much nicer than we anticipated, though it only took one night to edit.  Hope you guys enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed making it! Merry Christmas!

A Christmas Tale

It may not meet the standard of editing or acting that we had in our Halloween movie, but it’s certainly one of our favorite scripts. :P

Rhythm of Thoughts and Other Videos

Seems like I’m slowly leaking out more and more stuff I make at my school - perhaps one day I’ll actually have all my videos online rather than a select few. :P

At the moment, my club and I are working on a video for the 2008 Sparky contest, one advocating the sharing of ideas.  I admit the script isn’t overly complicated; we were going for more the visuals and sounds, which should leave quite an impression. :P

Rhythm of Thoughts

Contest ends tomorrow, but suggestions are welcome nonetheless. On the other hand, I’ve also added a video we made for Halloween earlier this year, one I don’t think we’ll top for a long time… Not going to name it, but I think you shouldn’t have a hard time finding it. :P It’s easily the most impressive video I have up right now.
