How can you say you love someone forever if as soon as they die, you ditch them in the ground to rot and never look back? What kind of horrible, inhumane person does that?

There's a feeling you get when summer hits and school is out.  When you were younger, it might have been excitement, freedom.  As you got older, it became more an interruption, an emptiness, time crawling by as you waited to see your peers again, an interlude as you waited for the next adventure. Except... on the 12th time, summer doesn't quite end.  It keeps going, no matter how long you wait. That feeling - when you're the only one still wandering the campus while everyone else already left - gradually becomes your everyday.  And at some point, you look back and realize this is the rest of your life.

Tired of having my words reinterpreted to mean different things. People are too busy looking for what they want to hear and not thinking about what someone else is actually trying to say.

Typical investor/businessman thinking: If I could just find a genius smart enough to make me a million dollars but too dumb to do it unless I tell him to...

Somewhere out there right now is someone seeing light from a distant planet Earth and assuming there is no intelligent life because it is light from thousands of years ago.

So many say we're created in God's image, yet act more like the shadow that merely follows. We call Him the Creator, yet so few carry on the work of actually creating.

Sound is just a concept, a label to a group of molecules moving together in tandem.  There is no "thing" called sound that actually travels.  It's just a domino effect.

If your only way to improve things is to destroy what was there before, then you're not trying to improve anything but yourself.

Social engineering - big words to sound like you were the victim of something ominous when actually you were just tricked by another human being.

Humans - the only species that can be fat and starving at the same time.

Time travel is quantum superposition in 4D by existing across multiple points in time instead of space. And as soon as you witness one, the others disappear.

Everything is perpetually falling - the moon, the stars, planets...  And perpetually dying.

That feeling of knowing we see the same night sky, the same stars and constellations, no matter how far apart we are, will one day be replaced by the feeling of realizing we might not even see the same moon.

Death is only natural... That is, until you find a cure. Then they'll kill you to have it.

Imagine having no sight, no hearing, no senses. The world exists but you wouldn't know it. Your body depends on this place outside your reality, but you aren't even aware of having a body, of its actions from your thoughts, of others who see you and perhaps try to interact with you. God probably thinks we're in a coma.

The average is not a real number. If one fish is fresh water and the other salt, optimizing for the average kills both.

Some let the world shape their dreams.  Others let their dreams shape the world.

If you drop a book a thousand times and just one of those times it doesn't fall, then that is the one datapoint worth looking at. (inspired from "I Origins")

Why put effort into something no one else wants? Because I want it. Is your life dream just to serve everyone else?
