One Million Gateways Startup Closes

One of the main startups relating to Ripple and other cryptocurrencies for the past couple years just closed its doors due to investors pulling out.

It's pretty sad to see, but it lines up with a lot of other de-risking and drying up of capital I've been seeing this year.  The slow tightening of investor capital is one of the red flags I mentioned in my Perfect Storm write-up, the conclusions of which again seem to be coming a bit sooner than I intended.  Will be interesting to see if this is part of a larger trend or just a one off instance.

Why Indigenous Cultures Don't Have Back Pain

It reminds me of the several occasions where I actually stressed my neck and back trying to follow advise for sitting up straight (I'm a short guy and tend to sit with legs folded, which then leads to the usual "sit up straight" advice).  IMO it makes the most sense to stick with what felt most natural/comfortable as a child rather than *think* about what your posture or lifestyle should be like.
